Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) on Wednesday reported a 24% year-on-year growth in its Q1FY26 consolidated net profit at Rs 4,083 crore versus Rs 3,283 crore in the year ago period.

The company’s revenue in the quarter under review stood at Rs 45,436 crore which was up 23% from Rs 37,010 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.

The company’s PAT increased 24% on a quarter-on-quarter basis versus Rs 3,295 crore in the January-March quarter of FY25. The top line was 7% on a sequential basis compared to Rs 42,586 crore in Q4FY25.

Mahindra & Mahindra reported strong operating performance across businesses in the first quarter of F26 with the auto and farm verticals continuing to deliver on growth and margins with profits up 20%, a company statement said.

Among key Q1 highlights, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited claimed that that it occupied the top spot in the SUV segment with revenue market share at 27.3%, up 570 bps while SUV volumes were up 22% in the quarter under review.

It stood at the number one spot in the LCV segment ( The tractors market share stood at 45.2%, up 50 bps while the electric 3 wheelers vertical reported a market share at 38.7%. The company occupied the top spot in these two segments as well, the filing said.
